This kit provides the facility to apply outside air temperature control to the boiler water flow temperature which provides energy savings. The outside sensor provided measures outside air temperature and sends a signal to the boiler, which adjusts the maximum boiler flow temperature in response. If outside air temperature is greater than the system design temperature, the boiler flow temperature is reduced providing running cost savings. The boiler will operate in the condensing mode more frequently increasing savings. Once the sensor is fitted it is automatically detected. The sensor operation may be configured by adjustment of the boiler operating parameters, if necessary.
For use with Logic+ Combi and Vogue Gen2 combi boiler ranges, this programmable room thermostat is quick and easy to install and creates a more efficient system.
The filling loop is a part that only occurs on boilers that deal with central heating. The filling loop allows the user to manually modify the amount of water in the central heating system if the pressure has decreased. Filling loops can be external or internal, depending on the type of appliance you have. External filling loops are usually removable as the water regulations state that the loop must be removed after use. However, if the loop is internal, there is usually a key that can be removed to disconnect the filling loop connection after use.
This part is located around the flue section. The flue is a vent which facilitates the safe removal of steam and gases resulting from the boilers normal operation. There are different models of flue which are dependant on the appliances location in the house and what model of unit is present .
