What are the Tool Hire delivery charges?
Delivery charges will be confirmed with your quotation and will vary depending on the product type. The charges are as follows: Plant equipment £20 , Access £12.50 and Tools and Equipment £7.50.
Is the Accidental Damage and Loss Waiver applied to every contract?
No, but it provides protection and peace of mind against unforeseen charges. The quotation will provide the costs for this benefit (equipment above £5000 DLW will be applied automatically, except if you are an account customer and have adequate insurance).
Am I responsible for any damage and/or fuel charges?
Yes. At point of off hire the equipment will be reviewed for any damages and fuel use and any additional charges will be confirmed.
If I do not have an account do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. It will be 3 week hire charge but this may be subject to change depending on the type of equipment.
If I do not have an account, do I need to provide any form of identification?
Yes. You will need to provide 2 forms of identification which the branch will confirm before hire commences.
Are there any minimum hire periods?
Yes. Some equipment is subject to a minimum of 1, 2 or 3 week minimum hire term. This will be confirmed at the point of order confirmation.
Can I hire a piece of equipment for one day?
Yes. We have flexible hire terms which include a 1 day, 2 day , a week and weekend hire terms. Subject to minimum hire periods.
I am not an account holder, are there any restrictions on what I can hire?
Yes. We are unable to process rehire and waste for non-account customers but we are able to service on Hippo bags.
Can I cancel my Tool Hire order after I've placed it?
Yes. You have the right to cancel any online or telephone orders within 14 days after the day we confirm (by email or by telephone) that we accept your order; and receive a refund, including standard delivery charges.
