Slide and hide is the way to go!
This oven is efficient, good to look at and easy to use. Oven impossible to clean
I purchased this oven as part of a kitchen refit last November. I have had Neff ovens for the last 30 years and been very happy. Excellent Oven
Stylish, love the slide & hide door only one problem is removing & refitting the door when the inside of the glass panels need cleaning is extremely difficult, but after saying that this the second one I have purchased

CLEANING
I find the cleaning function automatically triggers every couple of months even if the oven has been used very little, it is so annoying.

Always needs cleaning otherwise its a good oven
The oven itself is very good now we have got use to its temperature settings. The cooking temperature seems to be higher than the settings set. But now we cook arount about 10 degrees lower than the tempture it says it is its great. However despite the cooker being kept clean it constantly states it needs cleaning. We've also needed to have had the internal fan replaced in the last year

Great energy efficient

Oven impossible to clean
I purchased this oven as part of a kitchen refit last November. I have had Neff ovens for the last 30 years and been very happy. Cooking is different with CircoTherm rather than Fan but I have now got used to it. The eco clean is useful and should prevent the need for a big oven clean. BUT the design of the oven has resulted with the doors have two panels of glass, the vents are at the top and this leaves streaks between the panels. It appears that the only way to clean the streaks is to remove the door from the oven, separate the panels and the clean them - there is a you tube link to help! The re-installation of the door seems to be even more difficult with some having to resort to paying for an engineer call out to have the door refitted.
I was lucky, my door remained on the kitchen floor for three days until my nephew called and fitted it for me.
How can a company which had such a good reputation as Neff allow a helpful feature such as eco clean then make cleaning an oven door impossible.

Fantastic oven
Since we have had this oven, we have been experimenting with the programs and temperatures and just find the various features amazing.
We have had many ovens over the years, but the NEFF N70 is well made, and well thought out, with every convenience a home cook or chef could want
