18mm thick, nearly right
I won't really be able to assess what's so great or what's not so great about this wood until I've done the part of the project with the wood that hasn't been delivered yet. I'm definitely sure it's wood, though. It is nearly the size I ordered, 2.5mm undersize. I can only speculate whether T.P. have made up the missing volume of material with extra length, though i doubt they think that way.
