A drywall screw is designed for attaching drywall to wood or metal studs. It is available with either coarse or fine threads. They are threaded along their entire length and are self-threading, this allows them to be installed without the need of apilot hole.
These screws consist of an threaded cylindrical shaft that tapers to a point, with a Hex head at the other end. When these are driven into timber, the threads bite into the wood, while the head stops the screw from going all the way through as it provides compression.
General purpose screw, pozi countersunk, twinthread with a Zinc plated finish for increased durability. Suitable for use with most types of wallplugs and for many fixing applications including ironmongery, electrical and plumbing applications
