Great extraction unit. Highly efficient if fitted
Great extraction unit. Highly efficient if fitted right. Reading through the reviews I wonder how they have fitted this. If done correctly its miles away from your head and the extraction rate is fantastic.

Not fit for purpose!
We purchased this product on the basis of being neff and was expecting quality and efficiency. The build quality is good. The problem is the actual unit is 900mm wide (same as our induction hob)but the main extractor when you open up the front flap is 370mm wide and the second extractor to the rear which is inline ...

Effective extractor
Best extractor we have had. Great design minimises chance of hitting head unlike big hood extractors. Flexibility of tilt function great for when there are lots of pans on the go and makes it easy to clean

Cooker hood
Both stop brackets have fallen off cooker hood and will at times open of its own accord. Would expect much much better from Neff.

A good cooker
This is a well designed cooker hood that being 6ft +tall i don't knock myself out when cooking, it gives a good light over the hob. It could be quiter but hving said that the design makes up for it

Very poor Extractor hood
I have had this for 4 years now and its awful. It doesn't extract smoke - there is grease dripping from the sides no matter how many times you clean the metal grease mesh. The condensation is awful! The noise is insane. It's just the worst product from neff. And I have smoke and dust on my ceiling now as it doesn't do what its meant to do!

Doesn't like steam
Bit disappointed that the hood doesn't like steam, never had any issues with the previous horizontal hood. Drips from front and rear glass drop onto the induction hob and into the pan your cooking with. You can't open the front glass fully, as its only to remove the filter, and you are risking injury to your head /face as previously posted. It will open half way, however, but that doesn't solve the issue.
Expensive piece of kit, but if you want decent extraction, choose a horizontal extractor far more efficient.

Not at all happy.
This item was installed as per the lowest height and the smallest hole size for the extractor hose. This appliance does not extract the steam effectively, condensing on the glass and dripping on the hob. I would not recommend that this product be installed without the upper limit on height and hole for extraction. Unfortunately for us, changing the size of the hole is now impossible without replacing the entire wall of glass that is there. I cannot review the product effectively as it does not extract steam as it should as installed. we are very disappointed in this product as installed.

love it
looks so sleek in my new kitchen. It is relatively quiet as far as extractor fans go and is easy to keep clean. the light is subtle, but perfect to assist with lighting up the hob. Love it
