Perfect, modern door
Bought 5 30 inch doors and one 28 inch Suffolk doors. Had a carpenter fit them and he had absolutely zero issues with them so I can say fairer than that!

Poor quality with manufacturing defects
I bought one of these doors for a client and fitted it with no problems, it looked quite nice. I then tried to buy another and had three faulty doors in a row. One of these was damaged in transit, a small knock to the edge had lifted the veneer on the face but the other two had existing manufacturing faults. One ...

Excellent
Got 12 doors. 8 fire doors 4 normal. 1 fire door was half glazed. Joiner had no issues fitting and all look brilliant. Treated with osmo door oil clear satin. This darkened the doors a great deal. But came up well and shows the grain

No lock block's - had to be returned
Ordered 4 doors, they arrived 3 days late, which I could look past, however 3 of the 4 doors were damaged on the corners - appreciate this may have occurred in transit through the delivery company. However the joiner came to hang the doors, however none of the doors had any indication as to where the lock block was. All in all 2 phone calls and 2 hours later customer services surmised their must be a quality control issue and the doors had no lock block. Whilst it is not specifically their fault and they offered to pick up the doors and replace them, I have had to pay a joiner for a mornings work almost equivalent to the cost of one of the doors.

One veneer split when I was chopping out the hinges, I think there must have been a void underneath the edge lipping that allowed movement. The other one had a split on arrival. (see photos) It seems to be pot luck whether you get a get a decent door from this range. They are very cheap and are obviously built to a price. You can see the cost cutting in the wafer thin veneer. Dealing with these problems has cost me time and money and has made me look unprofessional to my client, I definitely wouldn't recommend these. Unfortunately it seems to be difficult to find any good quality doors these days, especially if you need to take off more than a few millimeters to fit to old door frames. On the plus side, Travis Perkins accepted the returns without any argument.

These doors are fantastic and great value. Very well made
These doors are a bargain from TP. I have purchased 9 of these wonderful doors. My carpenter who hung them could not praise them enough and will also be purchasing them for his own house. He said the 20mm trimming allowance is very useful and he's has had the same type of doors from somewhere else which were not as good as these , they only having about 3-5mm trim allowance. He also mentioned that the wood quality and veneer finish is of very high standard. After many hours thinking about having them stained, i took the plunge and used OSMO Natural Clear Wax (3060). Putting on only one coat with a wide 100mm bristle brush . The description says not to use any kind of oil wax or polish but i have had no issues.
These doors are fantastic and great value. Very well made

Previous review should have been 5*****
I did not want to varnish my doors as, in my opinion, it would spoil the look. I'd read that the manufacturer gave instruction that doors should NOT be oiled. I did a little research and came across the product OSMO door oil, the manufacturer of this product claims it can be used on veneered doors. It was a gamble I was prepared to take and I oiled my 6 doors using the product. I decided it would be a good idea to put the oil on with a cloth, as opposed to a brush, this would mean a smaller amount of the oil would be introduced in each stage. I gave all 6 doors 3 coats and I intend to give the doors a light rub with a Scotch pad and apply a final coat. This is a gamble I took but it may not be for you? The only complaint I would have is the amount of cutting leeway on the Fire Doors is insufficient.

Very happy
Just hung 10 of these ( the whole house) I was very impressed for the price.you need to take your time as the veneer is quite thin but there is a plenty of solid material on the edges. These doors are very heavy. We have had lots of positive comments of how they look.

Oak veneer doors
Just hung 11 of these doors and 1 fire door, good heavy solid doors ,no twist, really straight sides with no bow. Good thick oak edge as I had to plane plenty off some of these doors, would recommend cutting through side oak strips when cutting for height as planing 3mm off in one pass can start to bounce the side strip loose,or you can obviously do it 1mm but would take forever.there is no lock block questioned by another reviewer as the doors are totally solid(its obvious).just be careful to check delivery as the fire door came in cardboard but was Damaged on the edge with what looked like forklift truck fork marks but just mitrebonded it and sanded it in.
