Railway sleepers for raised flower beds
Beautiful sleepers, lovely deep chocolate brown and good price.
Able to trim them to size with a saw. Ideal for raised beds. Difficult to manoeuvre though!

Variable quality
Nice big reclaimed oak sleepers, perfect for landscaping projects. Quality is pretty variable - I ordered 10 and 2 had significant rot issues that made them hard to place and use. They're incredibly heavy, but look good once you have them in place

Proper sleepers
Being reclaimed these sleepers are somewhat battered and bruised and in some cases, the indentation caused by the rail baseplate is still visible. However this all adds to the charm and character. Absolutely ideal for creating that rustic look. Quality is variable but that is to be expected. Absolutely great product, super heavy sturdy and reliable.

Definitely buying more
Great looking sleepers lots of character of previous use , ideal for raised bedding . Heavy but manageable if putting on edge you need to spike them down to stop rolling over if you have adventurous children . Great product

Don't need to recommend. All I know are already impressed.
Brilliant stuff. Gnarled and battered and absolutely beautiful. Heavy as lead and thank goodness I remember Archimedes from school. Not difficult to move with a few wooden rollers and a couple of crowbars. Great fun ! Incidentally, those which have been delivered are six inches thick. Not a problem for me. Walls and borders only just started. I'll send you a photo when it's done.

A basic product doing a good job
As I expected they were heavy with an average weight of 58Kg. As I was using them as steps in a bank I had to lift them 12 ft before fitting them. Not an easy task on my own but with a bit of help from the wife and a small hydraulic jack we did it! The sleepers were rough with some of the ironwork still in place but they looked good in the garden and did the job....they will last for years.
The delivery driver was helpful as we had to off load them manually. He expressed doubt that I would get them in place on our own, but we did it!
