Cracked knobs
This appliance is generally very good but I've noticed the sword knobs have cracked & split in places ,not really the high standard I would have expected from Bosch. Tried customer services but have been cut off a few times .

Poor quality gas buttons
After 2 months of using gas buttons-plastic ones got broken! Not able to contact customer service as they do not pick up the calls due to unforeseen circumstances! Stylish Gas Hob
Love our new gas 5 burner hob. Looks very stylish. Easy to use. I especially love the 9 point setting for each burner.

No good enough
I bought this over the other premium brands as I thought it would represent quality and value for money. It is my first wander into a tempered glass top as I have always had stainless steel. How I wish I hadn't have bothered! The plates inder the supports are near impossible to clean if you have any burnt on marks or oil spit marks. Cleaning with "soap and water" does not work and if you use a soft plastic scourer then it scratches straight away and I mean a soft scourer pad too. And the glass scratches as the merest touch. Don't get me wrong, we are not messy, careless home cooks, but this should be able to deal with a cooking environment and necessary cleaning. Unless you want this purely for aesthetics, get stainless version. I 100% regret buying for this reason. To temper this, I have no issue with the actual cooking performance of the hob.

Stylish , appears to be well made
Only installed a few days, but appear to be well made and working well. The black glass hob does show the dust a little, but will be worth the effort to keep clean.

Rusted after 2 y
Coating under the cast iron pan supports failed, and the steel underneith is rusting and blistering.

Series 6 has hob
Good looking hob. I would say that the control knobs are a bit clumsy. Must light on full flame, and you don't get the send of roasting high flame to low flame without switching through each of the pre set flame numbers.

Fantastic hob
I love my new hob. The flameselect is brilliant as you can adjust the heat with the 1-9 adjustment which is very precise. The burners light immediately with no effort and stay alight even on the lower No. 1 setting which is great for simmering. The quality of the whole hob appears to be very good and so far I have found it very easy to clean with warm water and a small amount of washing up liquid on a microfibre cloth. I do keep a stainless steel hob cover over the wokburner as I found on my previous hob this was a magnetic for grease build up. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a 5 burner hob at a very reasonable price.
