Easy to work with
Having had a pacemaker fitted I had to swap my Bosch induction hob for this current electric. 13cm Crack developed after 40 days of use only!
Very disappointed with this Bosch product. I used to use a low brand ceramic hobs for 5 years with no problem at all. New hob unit without control knobs, touch controls work very well, nice flat surface with out control knobs makes cleaning very simple. A good purchase

Easy to work with

For me the absolute control with the induction is far superior I'm sure i will get used to all electric having to set aside utensils whilst the power loses some heat is taking some getting used to. However that is no fault of the unit. I wonder if technology will move on and allow a quicker response time with electric hobs. Can't fault this unit though.

I’m glad to hear you’re happy with the unit itself. While radiant electric hobs can’t quite match induction’s instant response, a few tweaks can help. Use good, flat‑bottom cookware with an aluminium or multi‑layer base for faster, more even heat transfer. Match the pan to the zone size and preheat briefly before cooking. Keep lids on to retain heat, and use the residual heat (when the indicator shows the zone is still hot) to finish cooking. Replacement Hob - after 20 years!
Excellent replacement for Bosch hob installed 20 years ago, yes it's been repaired a few times but excellent quality to acheive this length of time. New hob easily installed in kitchen unit space with same wiring.
