Great tool once set up...
Great tool once set up and the laser was aligned. Precise and accurate. With wood blade cut were sharp and neat. No tearing

Was really excited to...
Was really excited to receive my new sliding compound mitre from the Evolution team and I wasn't disappointed. Was super easy to assemble and mount on my universal mitre saw stand. I bought this Saw particularly for the ease of use, the width of cuts and especially the ability to trench cut which will increase my strength of joint work.
Very happy indeed.

I use this only for...
I use this only for cutting steel. So far I'm very happy. I swapped the blade out for a Diablo steel demon and cut mainly 1/8in wall square tube. So far it cuts great and accurate. The only downside is it tends to throw some metal back in your face. Enough that I prefer to wear a full face shield while cutting. Over all a good saw.

Performs as advertised!
So far (having had this saw only a couple of weeks), everything has been great. Shipping and processing of order was super fast. This saw easily and cleanly cuts metals, plastics and wood with perfection; this saw does put off more shards and chaff than expected Took the time to perform a detailed set-up and got extremely accurate angles/miters. This took minimal time and there are a couple of great youtube videos explaining how. Also, the instruction pamphlet that came with this saw is poorly done and confusing; after reviewing some youtube videos, got this saw assembled and running in fifteen minutes (less time than it took to review the 62 steps/pics set out in the somewhat confusing instruction pamphlet). Have some concerns about blade life based on other reviews, but not sure those are justified; will have to see. Because of its versatility, this saw replaced two others, so it really saved space in my small hobbyist metal/wood shop.

The New Beast
Found it very difficult and slow to assemble. Instruction manual had to be enhanced with You Tube videos and Facebook help. Not used yet but looks great.

Refurbished tool
I was looking for another mitre saw and looked at your website and noticed that you also have refurbished items and I found what I wanted so I ordered it, now that it has arrived and have used it i am more than happy with it. Would definitely recommend looking at the refurbished ones
