Ronseal Trade Polyurethane Varnish is a traditional solvent based varnish that provides tough protection against knocks, scuffs and scratches. Ensure the room is warm and well-ventilated. Sand the wood in the direction of the grain using 120 grit paper. Wear a suitable mask to avoid the inhalation of dust. Wipe away dust with white spirit and allow to dry. Always use a good quality, soft bristle brush. Stir the varnish thoroughly. Apply 3 coats leaving 6 hours between coats. Lightly sand with 240 grit paper and remove dust prior to application of the final coat.

Ronseal Trade Ultra Tough Floor Varnish protects wooden floors by providing long lasting protection against knocks, scuffs and scratches. Stir thoroughly prior and during use. Apply in a warm well ventilated room. Using a good quality 4" synthetic bristle brush apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain. For best results, apply to 3-4 boards at a time to avoid overlaps. Do not over-brush as this will spread the finish too thinly and effect performance. Apply 3 coats leaving two hours between coats. Prior to application of the final coat, lightly rub down with 240 grade sandpaper, wipe over with a damp cloth and allow to dry.
