If you’re hiring Hire Goods from us as a consumer for personal use (as opposed to in relation to your trade, business, craft or profession), you have the right to cancel any online or telephone orders within 14 days after the day we confirm (by email or by telephone) that we accept your order; and receive a refund, including standard delivery charges. This is your Consumer Cancellation Right and it applies in addition to any other rights set out under these conditions and our Standard Conditions of Hire.
To exercise your Consumer Cancellation Right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel by a clear statement (for example, by a letter sent by email or by post). You may use the model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. Your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel should be sent to: email@example.com
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Please note that if you requested that we should provide the hire services during the 14 day cancellation period:
Your right to cancel the contract will expire once the hire services have been completed, even if the cancellation period is still running; and
If you cancel after we have started the hire services, you must pay us for the hire services (and any additional services, such as our Accidental Loss and Damage Waiver cover) provided up until we are informed of your decision to cancel, including returning the Hire Goods to us at your own cost.
We will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us) as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receiving the Hire Goods back. The refund will be made to the debit or credit card you used to pay for the hire services.
