Overview
- Tectite male connectors have either taper BSP threads to ISO 7 (formerly BS 21) or BSP threads to BS EN IS0 228:2003. Inert Jointing compounds or PTFE tape should be applied to taper threads and good quality jointing washers should be used with parallel threaded fittings. Female threaded connectors have internal parallel threads to BS EN IS0 228:2003. Tectite Classic is WRAS approved. Suitable for jointing Plain and Chrome plated Copper tube to BS EN 1057
- up to 28mm with Tectite PEX / PEX pipe [with liner] to BS 7291 part 3
