Big Christmas Toy & Hamper Collection

We are delighted to be joining forces with Northampton Saints again to bring festive cheer to disadvantaged children and those in hospital this Christmas.

The Saints are currently competing at the top of rugby union’s Gallagher PREM, and between us we have launched our Big Christmas Toy and Hamper Collection for 2025.

As part of the festive initiative, which is in its 12th year, Saints players will visit Northampton General Hospital in the build-up to Christmas to surprise young patients with gifts.

Gifts will also be provided to the Northampton Children’s Trust, which will support more than 6,000 disadvantaged children and their families across Daventry, Northampton Angel Square, Wellingborough, Kettering and Corby.

How can you help?

Spend no more than £10 on a new toy or gift - see the list below for loads of ideas. Or pick several items from the hamper list and put them in a Christmas bag.

Donations of toys and food can be made at multiple locations over the coming weeks, including Saints fans being encouraged to bring presents and food items to their Investec Champions Cup clash with Vodacom Bulls at Cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens on Sunday, December 14.

Unable to attend the game? You can still support!

If you're unable to make the game you can pop along to one of the venues below anytime between now and Friday 14 December:

Visit any of four Travis Perkins branchs in the region:

  • Harvey Reeves Road, Northampton
  • Kettering Road, Northampton

Ulundi Makhanya, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Northampton Saints, said: “Partnering with Travis Perkins and harnessing the incredible generosity of our supporters and the wider Northampton community, the Big Christmas Toy and Hamper Collection has brought joy to thousands of children and families over the years.

“Christmas is especially challenging for many, with ongoing cost-of-living pressures, so initiatives like this make a real difference.
