TP Bournemouth Branch Relocates

Our Bournemouth branch has moved to a fantastic new 2.63 acre site, now calling 70 Ashley Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH1 4LL home, which reopened in December 2023.

As part of our plans to offer bigger and better builders’ merchants right where tradespeople need them, our new branch aims to do just that - offereing a range of services and a wide selection of building materials - all under one roof.

Local footballing legend Harry Redknapp (pictured above with Branch Manager, Ash Moulton) opened the new Travis Perkins branch in Bournemouth on Monday 4th December. The former Bournemouth, Portsmouth, West Ham and Tottenham manager (amongst others!) made a special visit to the newly relocated branch to cut the ceremonial ribbon and welcome customers.

The site includes electric forklift trucks, charging points and solar panels to minimise operating emissions - all designed to help deliver on our decarbonisation and net-zero carbon ambitions. 

Harry Redknapp said: “I have fond memories of transfer deadline day, so when Travis Perkins asked me to open their newly transferred branch I jumped at the chance to visit and share my advice with their team. They have a cracking set-up and I’ve no doubt that the new branch will become an integral part of the local community, providing all the advice, as well as building materials and equipment builders and contractors could need.” 

Branch Manager, Ash Moulton said about the new opening: “It was amazing to have a football legend like Harry Redknapp come down to meet our customers and the 22-strong team of colleagues who are serving them from this branch. We’re really excited to be opening our doors to the tradespeople and builders of Bournemouth.”
