Liverpool Aintree Branch Opens

The brand new branch officially opened its doors on 1st March 2022 at Bridle Road, Netherton, Liverpool L30 1PG, with special guests local mayor, Councillor Clare Louise Carragher and players from Merseyrail Ladies FC.

20 new jobs have been created in the local community, with a quarter of those being filled by women, in what has been traditionally a male-dominated sector.

To help reduce carbon emissions, the store will be using electric forklifts and have installed electric charging points - all in an effort to decarbonise the fleet and become a net-zero carbon producer.

So what else can you expect from the new Travis Perkins branch in Liverpool? There will of course be the usual supply of building materials serving the local professional builder, as well as a top class hire service, bricks, blocks, timer specialist, hard landscaping display, lintels and drainage. There’s also a Benchmarx Kitchens showroom less than one mile away.   

The Liverpool Aintree branch will also be offering a Click & Collect service and a next day delivery service.

Branch manager John Dempsey said: “We’re really excited to give the trade professionals of Liverpool a place to access everything they need for their projects. The fact that 20 new jobs have been created because of the branch opening is a huge bonus too.”
