Powerful Extractor
This powerful extractor works well especially when paired to a AEG induction hob. Instructions could be improved as when fitted in recirculating mode the roof of the cabinet needs to be vented, otherwise the system blows the cabinet door open in operation.

Looks Great, Works Well...
The initial feeling was that the units lights flash on switch on, it can be a little disconcerting as it isn't prominently highlighted in the installation instructions. I realise it is mentioned on the web page however, it is the install manual that is the first port of call. May I suggest a "flash" should be changed to the lights simply turning on if this is a necessary function of the unit.
The volume on the lowest setting is a little loud but tollerable, the location does act like a resonance box and is probably intensifying the sound somewhat.
As for its effectiveness I am happy to say it works well, even at the lowest setting and, to that end, I probably won't need to go beyond the lowest setting!!!
Another positive note is that the unit can be used as direct to atmosphere or by circulation through a changeable carbon filter.

Solid piece of kit but check cabinet size.
This is built like something on a battleship. It is extremely robust and much taller than expected so make sure the wall cabinet you choose can accommodate. That goes for depth too - fortunately we employed a top installer and he managed to shoehorn ours in. It's also extremely powerful and much noisier than we would like but then it's not actually on that often. The "Hob2Hood" and dishwashable filter functions are nice touches…

Extractor fan
Only had it installed 4 weeks ago. So far looks fantastic and has worked perfectly. The connection to the Hob is really useful.
Only issue so far is it comes with a remote but no battery supplied! A little cheap when spending so much on a device.

Cooker hood
Excellent and easy to use, great touch when used in conjunction with the hob, as it detects how fast it should go, according to how much steam cones off the hob.when fitted it didn't have the filter and caused a bit of water onvthe hob.

MP18LZP 70mm Sq x 2400mm long metal post. Flat Top with plastic cap insert. The latch catch is already welded to the post to suit the Corfe and Balmoral tall single side gates. Concrete-in style. Electro-galvanised for added rust resistance and Powder coated black. Note; the galvanising is not a 100% rust proof guarantee. The post and particularly the latch catch will need to be paint touched up periodically if the coating is damaged or chipped.
