Wouldn't recommmend
Does the job but looks really shabby. Not what you would expect something brand new to look like. Lots of scratches, indentations, pock marks on the finish. Even the air vents were not cleared out properly and we had to trim them off ourselves. Bought the electricity box door as well and just the same finish, very ...

I would buy again.
The meter cupboard door was fine although I think overpriced, however fitting it was a bit of a pain and it is not obvious the bottom pin is spring-loaded. I managed to work it out in the end but perhaps a small leaflet to indicate the fact would have been useful.

Fitted in a few minutes due to the actual box being out of shape and therefore needing to file and sand. Once done clicked in and locked up. Product itself is perfect.

Excellent purchase
I've never used Travis Perkins before but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Good advice on my purchase and the meter box door was a perfect fit. Result! Ok so the item wasn't boxed and was a little dusty but this is a builders merchant and all it needed was a wipe down. I was really impressed by TP and look forward to my next visit. Great service and product.

Poor product
The product wasn't even packed, and it looked like it's used. It had little scratches and black marks on it. Overall decent quality, but definitely not a good price-quality value. Wouldn't recommend it.

The need to buy a new door for a 25yr-old box was prompted by the total erosion of the latch spindle with use, making it impossible to unlock the door. We've never had a proper key so to receive one with the new door was a delight! The door was easy to install and fitted perfectly BUT only once we'd managed to wrestle out the spring-loaded hinge pin from the old door and insert it in the new door which was issued without one. We'd spotted this omission when we collected it, but as only three doors were in stock to "collect" from the Horwich branch and when inspected none of them had a second pin, we accepted the deficient one; although it irked, we had to fix the new, full-priced door ourselves before installation.
