Great solution to a common problem
Great solution to a problem basin waste. This is an easy solution to the common DIYers problem of sealing a basin waste.
This was used to fix a waste that was a problem when installed and some two years later developed a leak.
It is easy to use and worked first time for me - that makes it good value for money too.
For the best result, I did not use the foam ring supplied to bed in the waste but used Plumber's Gold instead. May be this was belt and braces but worked well.

Solves under sink leaks properly
This solves under sink leaks properly and easily. No sealants, no hassle. Had to fit it to an existing pedestal wash hand basin and removed the sink to allow full access to tighten up the nut properly. The main seal is a fairly hard conical rubber 'bung' and not sure you could get enough leverage in the tiny space to tighten the nut sufficiently without removing whb?

I will definitely buy this product again
I bought Evo-stik 456006 Plumbers Mait 750g and Brass Flanged Backnut 1 1/4in along with the 4 Trade Basin Waste Seal - but the only thing I needed to use was the 4 Trade Basin Waste Seal - brilliant!

I reccommend this to anyone fitting a new basin.
Easy to fit and does the job. Just wonder why these are not supplied with the purchase of a basin.

Excellent product, no leaks from basin with this seal. Quite tight to fit but managed it in the end.
