Our quality aerated concrete foundation blocks are ideal for below ground-level construction supporting solid or cavity walls, as well as suspended floors. These standard foundation blocks are very lightweight, which makes them quicker and easier to manage. They can also withstand freezing conditions and offer great thermal performance too.
The Ibstock Red Engineering Class B Brick is a high-strength, low water absorption brick designed for structural applications. Manufactured using a perforated, wirecut process, it offers exceptional compressive strength, making it ideal for foundations, retaining walls, and other load-bearing projects. Its low water absorption reduces the risk of frost damage and enhances durability. As an engineering brick, it is specified for its performance rather than its appearance, meaning it is not intended for facing work. Where aesthetics are a priority, a facing brick should be used instead. Please note this product is produced in Ibstocks Chesterton factory and is therefore more suited to counties in the Midlands & South
H+HÕs Celcon Blocks High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2 Ð identified with a black stripe on the block) is ideal where higher compressive strengths are required such as in the foundations and lower storeys of three storey buildings, piers under high vertical loads and in multi-storey buildings.
Coursing Units are produced from the same material as all H+H aircrete and are suitable for the same applications as conventional size Celcon Blocks, allowing consistency within the building fabric.
Bostik BLOCK C902 (previously Sovereign Hey’di Powder X) is a rapid-setting plugging compound with almost instant curing. It is used to stop water ingress through concrete and masonry, prior to tanking with the Sovereign Hey’di K11 Tanking System. Bostik BLOCK C902 can be applied as a dry powder or mixed with water into a wet paste and used as a plug. It sets in seconds of contact with water, forming a waterproof plug preventing water ingress.
