• Lever style and accessibility: Choose return-to-door levers for public and commercial corridors to prevent clothing from snagging during emergency evacuations and satisfy BS 8300 accessibility requirements.

• Spindle and fixings: Ensure bolt-through fixings and split spindles match your exact fire door core thickness (typically 44mm for FD30 or 54mm for FD60) without requiring field modifications that compromise fire integrity.

Confirm whether your handles require pre-cut intumescent gasket pads behind the rose or backplate. Stock up on fire door hinges, overhead door closers and intumescent door seals to complete your certified installation.
