Lovely looking but noisy!
Great looking wine cooler but I don't understand how others are commenting on how quiet it is. Mine isn't.
I'm led to believe that to make it energy efficient a fan circulates the air in preference to the cooling element being active. The result is a fan whiring away fully 50% of the time.

Noisier than expected
Of all the fridges and freezers we have and have previously had this is the noisiest, and noisier than our previous budget wine fridge. We have only had it a couple of days and it is quieter than it was on the first day so we are hoping it will settle down however so far only happy with the look of the unit which matches our other Neff appliances.I suspect we will be reaching out to Neff over the next few days unless it continues to improve.

Looks great
I use it more for keeping soft drinks that would be taking up space in the fridge rather than for wine. Holds more than I expected and look great

I'm led to believe that to make it energy efficient a fan circulates the air in preference to the cooling element being active. The result is a fan whiring away fully 50% of the time.
When it stops the difference is incredible and you notice how noisy it's been.
Compared to friends wine coolers which sit un-noticed in the corner this is excessively intrusive, which is a shame as it looks great.
I'd rather pay an extra £20 a year in electricity and have it keep quiet!
