The Travis Perkins building supplies branch in Bicester, situated at 128 Churchill Road, OX26 4XZ, now incorporates a brand new Benchmarx Kitchens showroom, where you will find a display of the latest ranges along with related products - this includes a True Handleless kitchen range display.
Officially reopened on 28th March 2022, by Mayor of Bicester Councillor Nick Mawer and Oxford City FC's Alfie Potter, funds were raised on the day for our partner charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. A raffle was held with prize giveaways to a number of lucky customers!
2 jobs were also created - branch manager and kitchen designer, offering a top service and free kitchen design appointments.
The Mayor of Bicester, Councillor Nick Mawer, said: “It was a pleasure to officially open the new Benchmarx Bicester store. Everyone knows it has been a turbulent time for many businesses, particularly physical stores that have been unable to open during lockdowns or have had to adapt to restrictions. I’m therefore delighted to welcome Benchmarx to Bicester, along with the new jobs it has created in the region.”
In addition to the new Benchmarx Kitchens showroom, you’ll find a hire service for all of your plant, tools and equipment hire needs, as well as a doors and joinery centre - all under one roof at the Travis Perkins Bicester branch.
Matt Gilboy, branch manager at Benchmarx Bicester, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Benchmarx to Bicester, and are grateful to Councillor Nick Mawer for officially opening the new location. We’d also like to thank Oxford City player, Alfie Potter for attending the opening.
“With demand for home renovations and construction at an all-time high, the opening of the new branch couldn’t come at a better time. The store has been designed to provide a one-stop shop for all kitchen and joinery needs, so we’re excited to welcome our first customers and make the kitchen dreams of the people of Bicester come true!”
