VELUX White Maintenance-Free Roof Window Terms & Conditions

These VELUX Promotion Terms & Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/claim instructions are deemed to form part of these VELUX Promotion Terms & Conditions and by participating all claimants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these VELUX Promotion Terms & Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

 

You are only entitled to claim a VELUX Reward if you made a Qualifying Purchase at any date between 01.04.2025 and 31.05.2025 and you purchased one or more VELUX white maintenance-free roof  window(s). Claim by date is 13th June 2025. 

 

Each VELUX manual white maintenance-free roof window falling within a Qualifying Purchase will qualify you to claim a Reward on the value of up to £30 for a VELUX manual white maintenance-free roof  window or £60 for a VELUX solar or electric white maintenance-free roof window for UK residents. Only one Reward may be claimed for each such product purchased. No Reward will be provided unless claimed in accordance with these VELUX Promotion Terms & Conditions*.

By taking part in this promotion and claiming a Reward (i.e. Argos collection code, Argos A-card, Marks and Spencer (M&S) e-gift card, Milano gift card or Ticketmaster e-code) you agree to (1) these Promotion Terms & Conditions and (2), depending upon where you made the Qualifying Purchase (as defined following the link below) and whether you have chosen an Argos Reward, M&S Reward, Milano Reward or Ticketmaster Reward, the applicable Argos, M&S, Milano or Ticketmaster Terms & Conditions (as defined following the link below):

All of these Terms & Conditions are set out below. 

 

1. You can earn points on your purchases of the majority of products within Dakea and VELUX ranges, as well as on other selected activities. Please see memberportal.velux.qwasi.com/uk/how-to-earn-points for details on the products that qualify for rewards (Qualifying Purchase). 

We recommend you to keep yourself updated on a regular basis.                                          

Further you are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) either:                                                           

 

(a) the final (professional) installer of the VELUX products so purchased and you purchased them to install them and not for onward sale, or                                          

 

(b) the owner of a house or other residential property who has purchased the products for installation in a residential property that you own. If you have purchased, collected or installed the products in your capacity as an employee, you should have permission from your employer to claim Rewards in relation to the purchase.                                         

 

Claims must be submitted within 45 days of purchase date. Please note for certain time-limited special promotions offering extra rewards, a specific end date may be applicable, see advertising or promotion terms and conditions for details.

 

Each roof window falling within a Qualifying Purchase will qualify you to claim a Reward dependent on the value of the specific product. To view the value of rewards applicable to each model of window use the 'Rewards Calculator' available at www.velux.co.uk/rewards. Only one Reward may be claimed for each such window purchased. No Reward will be provided unless claimed in accordance with these Promotion Terms & Conditions (see below for how to claim).                                          

 

VELUX requires you to be transparent with your customers about your participation in the rewards programme. This can be done, for example, by including the following wording in your offer to your customers (without legal guarantee):                                          

“Please note that my company participates in the VELUX Rewards Program where we receive benefits (in the form of redeemable rewards points that might be increased during campaigns / promotions) for qualifying sales of certain VELUX products. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.” 

 

2. Any claim or claims for Rewards corresponding to a purchase or to purchases in aggregate of more than 25 windows will be subject to further verification by the Promoter. However the Promoter reserves the right to subject any claim for a Reward to further verification. As part of the verification process, address and identity details may be requested plus further evidence of the products having been installed in a construction project (in which case they must be provided within 14 days). 

 

3. The Promoter reserves the right to reject any claim for Rewards and to refuse to award a Reward or withdraw allocation and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify a participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Promotion Terms & Conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotion's requirements or if it suspects fraud or believes you are for any other reason not entitled to the Reward. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any such decision and no correspondence will be entered into. 

 

4. In order to participate in the promotion and claim a Reward, as well as making a Qualifying Purchase you will have to provide certain information. The information that you provide will or may include: your name, address, business name and contact details; details relating to the Qualifying Purchase, including where the purchase was made, the VELUX or Dakea products purchased and the invoice number; and details of items that you purchased at the same time. However, no information about the price you paid for the VELUX or Dakea products or any other items that you purchased at the same time, or information about discounts or payment terms, will be provided to the Promoter (such information will be removed before the other information is received by the Promoter). 

 

5. The Promoters will act as joint data controllers of your personal data. Any personal data that you provide will be used solely in accordance with current, applicable data protection legislation as set out in the Promoters’ privacy policies and will not be disclosed to a third party, other than the Promoter's appointed agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and for market research purposes. In respect of and appointed agencies, the processing of your personal data will be subject to strict Data Processing Agreements to ensure your privacy. You agree that the Promoter may disclose the personal data and other information that you provide in connection with this promotion to its agencies for the purpose of servicing/implementing the promotion and for research purposes. Such research may include contacting you by telephone/text/email/post or otherwise to conduct surveys.                                         

If, upon registration, you choose to give consent for your data to be used for marketing purposes, you agree that the promoters may use your personal data to help create more personalised sales and marketing activities towards you, for instance suggesting products that you might see as relevant. 

 

6. If you do not wish to receive any further communication from the Promoter or its agencies via SMS, please follow the instructions on the SMS by clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link and confirming your wish to stop receiving communications of this nature. If you do not wish to receive any further communication from the Promoter or its agencies via email, please go to www.velux.qwasi.com/rewards/unsubscribe.php and follow instructions. 

 

7. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Promotion Terms & Conditions, at any stage, but will in such case endeavour to minimize any adverse effect on participants in the promotion. 

 

8. The process to claim a Reward is as follows: 

 

1. You must create an account online at www.velux.co.uk/rewards or www.dakea.co.uk/rewards in the UK or www.velux.ie/rewards in ROI, and provide some basic information. Usage of personal data that you provide will be in accordance with point 7 above. Claim by 13th June 2025. 2. Register your Qualifying Purchases by uploading proof of purchase from the supplying merchant. This can be supplied in JPEG, PNG, PDF, and other common file formats. Proof of purchase will only be accepted if uploaded through your account within 45 days of the purchase date stated on your invoice. To be valid, proof of purchase must include a VELUX or Dakea product code, quantity of products purchased, date of purchase, and name and branch detail of supplying merchant. 

 

3. Registering your Qualifying Purchase can be done either by uploading the invoice from the supplying merchant or scanning the unique QR found on the products during the installation. QR Code scanning registration is currently available by invite only. 

 

4. Subject to verification by the Promoter, the relevant Reward balance will be added to your account. Verification of proof of purchase may take a few working days. The Promoter may ask for the image to be resubmitted if it is illegible or omits any of the details outlined above in point (b). Rewards from each specific purchase can be redeemed immediately upon verification by the Promoter, or can be retained and redeemed in combination with Rewards earned from other qualifying, verified purchases. 

 

5. Rewards Points cannot be exchanged to cash. 

 

6. Select which partner organisation you wish to redeem a Reward from (chosen from the selection of M&S, Argos, Ticketmaster in the UK and Argos, Ticketmaster, or Milano in ROI) and the denomination of Reward from the available options. 

 

7. The selected amount redeemed will be removed from your Rewards balance. 

 

8. The remainder of the Rewards balance can be redeemed from the same, or from another, Rewards partner. Available Reward denominations may vary depending on partner. 

 

9. Scanning QR Codes                                                     

Unique QR codes are found on the products and can be scanned using the VELUX Rewards web interface. Points will automatically be awarded to the account owner. To be valid, the VELUX product scanned must be purchased by the Rewards Program member claiming the points. VELUX Sco reserves the right to request a proof of purchase for purchase validation, which will be done in the web interface with a status update.  

 

The Rewards Program member will have one main account. In addition, one or more secondary accounts can be created for employees at the Rewards Program member. The secondary accounts can be used to register the products and provide additional information about the installation project.                      

The main account has the full administration rights and can earn and spend points on an aggregated level. The secondary account(s) can only earn point points on behalf of the main account and do not have the rights of spending points. 

 

● Expiry of points                                    

The Rewards Points will expire on 31/12 in the year after you have earned them. We will send reminders prior to expiry. 

 

● The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any proof of purchase lost or mislaid. The Promoter reserves the right to request the original proof of purchase at any time, in order to verify a claim for Rewards. (Proof of purchase will be returned). 

 

● Any participant claiming this offer on behalf of their company may have a tax liability, any tax liability is the claimant's own responsibility. 

 

● The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the promotion at any time without prior notice. 

 

● Deactivation of Account                                    

 

a) You want to deactivate your Account:                                    

You can deactivate your account at any time by clicking on ‘Deactivate my account‘ in the section of ‘Edit my Profile’. Any outstanding Rewards Points can be spent prior to closing of the account. If you do not want to spend the Rewards Points they will be deleted.                                    

 

b) Deactivation of inactive Account:                                    

If your account has been inactive (not logged-on to) for 24 months, it will be deactivated without any further notice. Upon deactivation of your account, personal data will be anonymized. Data used for legal purposes, e.g. tax authorities will be stored for 7 years. 

 

● The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or cease the VELUX Rewards Program at any time with a notice of 3 months. Any points earned must be spent during the notice period. At the end of the notice period, Rewards Points will lapse.
