This is a nice bench, well designed and durable, though not as well finished as they make out - splinters etc. Drilling etc is mostly accurate and assembly reasonably easy. One part of the seat base was misaligned
However, Forest Products' quality control and customer relations are dismal. A lot of online reviews of these benches talk about missing fittings or damaged parts. I decided to ignore these and order anyway. When my bench arrived a backrest slat was split due to careless assembly in the factory (decided to fix it myself due to the hassle of organising a return) and the fittings pack had fallen out due to virtually non existent packaging. It took Forest 10 days to respond to an email about this, and over 3 weeks to send the fittings. No apology. So the message is, check the online reviews with other suppliers before ordering, and believe all the bad ones.
None of this is Travis's fault, but they expect you to sort issues out yourself with their 'trusted supplier'. H'm.
Would I buy another? Perhaps, as they're reasonably priced, attractive, and strongly made. But if you want to avoid a load of likely hassle, go elsewhere.
