Induction Hob
I love my induction hob which I got as part of a package of Bosch kitchen appliances when I had my apartment refurbished last year. It's so easy to use and to keep clean. Thoroughly recommend Bosch

Seems OK
We've been using this hob for over six months. While it functions well overall, the surface scratches very easily, which affects the appearance. Our previous Bosch ceramic hob lasted 18 years and was much more scratch-resistant. Disappointed with the surface quality, but otherwise the hob performs as expected.

Induction hob
This is the first time I have ever purchased/ used an induction hob. Only purchased on June and it has already scratched purely from using saucepans on top of it. After researching why it would scratch so easily it states not to move saucepans around on it ? It's also noisy when cooking.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to write your review and we're sorry to hear you're unhappy with your induction hob. We would advise small movements may not cause damage to the hob glass, but other factors such as pan base material, design and items underneath may cause damage. In terms of the sound, this machine is a plug & play model with a low total connected load to allow the machine to be connected by a 13A plug (3000W whilst plugged in). What this means is that there is limited power for the zones; the 4 zones are 1.8kw x2, 2.2kw & 1.1kw. Once you go near this limit the machine uses a power management system that switches the power between the zones and the more zones on / at a higher power would increase the sound as the machine needs to work harder to make sure all zones get power. Great Induction Hob
Great new hob in our kitchen, nice clean lines, easy to use and powerful. Never go back to any other type of job. Only trouble is that have been prevented from applying for the extended warranty which is extremely annoying as couldn't access the portal for some reason!

Excellent choice
This is my first experience of an Induction Hob. The Bosch Series 4 is an excellent choice, as it is a smart appliance of very high quality, easy to use and shortens cooking times, thereby saving on energy costs.

A step up
We had the previous version of this hob. This version is much more efficient, boiling faster, multiple rings at max (not boost). The only snag is that we are getting used to the double press to change each rings setting. It's not big a problem as we are not continually changing the heat setting on the rings.

New
So far so good . Worst thing was getting it registered . Built in hob and all the numbers that are need are underneath the hob, with a set of draws under it . So I had to take all the draws out and with the help of hand mirror I was able to locate the numbers. Hopefully they are the right numbers .Ridiculous! Hopefully the appliance is worth it . Only 4 stars because of the trouble getting the numbers

Not the best Bosch appliance
Just had installed new Bosch oven, microwave & induction hob in refitted kitchen. Of the 3 appliances, I found the induction hob least enjoyable to use. The instructions weren't great, and I find it a bit weird to use- certainly not as intuitive as the microwave or oven. It does heat up very quickly, and is easy to clean (compared to my old gas hob), but the touch-screen is rather tricky to use, and it is not easy to see which area of the hob is still hot after/during cooking- if you don't look carefully. Also, no visual effect (like a simulated flame or electric ring) to indicate that a part of the hob is on and working. Not up to Bosch usual standards.

As induction requires a suitable pan to be able to heat, simulated effects would not work, as to be working the zone must be obscured. The display does show, however, what zone is on what power setting. I am glad to hear you find it quick to heat. Thanks - Craig
