I would not buy this product again
Used on a downstairs toilet latch lock mechanism is useless next to no movement between being locked and unlocked! utter rubbish!

Don't bother, privacy latch doesn't really work properly.
The "privacy" part of these handles is completely useless, theres enough movement (play) in the handle for the door to be opened when in the locked position, due to poorly designed mechanism.
Aside from that there OK.
