A pan connector joins the outlet at the back of the toilet pan to the soil pipe. It bridges the gap between the two parts and helps create a secure waste connection.

How to choose the right pan connector

• Straight vs. offset vs. flexible: Use straight connectors when the spigot and soil pipe align perfectly. Choose offset connectors (14mm to 40mm) to correct slight alignment variances. Use flexible connectors for awkward angles or long extension runs.

• Spigot & socket diameter: Verify whether your toilet outlet spigot measures the standard 4 inch (110mm) diameter or 3½ inch (90mm) diameter to ensure the rubber fin seal fits snugly without slipping.

• Rigid vs. flex length: Ensure flexible connectors are not stretched to their maximum limit, maintaining a gradual drop to prevent waste collection in connector ridges.
