Scale Inhibitors

Scale inhibitors help to prevent the build up of limescale in hard water areas, usually used with heating systems to help prolong their life and performance, as well as other appliances. These limescale inhibitors work by using a magnetic field or electrolytes to reduce scale forming in pipework, so no chemicals are used. The difference between the two types is that the magnetic scale inhibitor alters the properties of the minerals found in hard water, while the electrolytic version changes the chemical composition in water.
