I would still buy the product even though they are not ideal
They have been used to create safety hand rails around a house for a Parkinson sufferer. However they are not particularly square although they seem to have adequately performed the task they have been put to.
One small gripe I ordered these from my local branch and they where to be delivered 2 days later. this didn't happen so I ended up having to collect them myself.

Poor
Initially these brackets looked quite nice, but once we started doing any sort of work with them they it soon became apparent they were poorly made with massive differences across the 10 brackets we ordered. The most common problem was them not sitting flush with the wall, adding a couple of frustrating hours beating them with a lump hammer until they sat flush (note: this wasn't our walls - the mounting plates were visibly not 90 degrees against the stem!). Most brackets also had stems of varying lengths, so we ended up having to order them to reduce the chances of you being able to perceive the difference bracket to bracket.
In the end they looked pretty good, but I suspect this was down to our perseverance rather than the brackets. I wouldn't recommend these.
