condensation problems during cold weather
we have 3 which were installed this summer. love the light, but this is our first winter with them and we've had condensation in and around the sun tunnels. there is water literally pooled up inside the tubes and we also had water dripping around the tubes during a brief warm up. we have a vaulted ceiling. not s ...

Not cold weather friendly
Installed last March and have enjoyed it right above my easy chair. This week we had a cold snap that got down to 25° 3 nights in a row. I happened to look up and saw a crack thru the glass and moisture all over inside. Very upset.

Great love it
About a year ago we had the Sun Tunnel installed and love it. Unfortunately, last week we needed to replace the entire roof and the diffuser was lost during reinstalling the tunnel. Can someone tell me how and where I can get another 10 inch diffuser?

Yes. Had one installed in my foyer coming in from the garage. An area with very little windows. Unreal how much light it gives off.

Pure Natural Light.
I'm installing a new roof and wanted to upgrade my old skylights. I was hesitant at first about the Sun Tunnel and it seemed to be expensive for what you were getting. I am so happy I decided to go with them. These are a well-engineered product that assembles and installs nicely. The light it produces is so natural. A big selling feature for me was the roof flashing that when installed correctly should never leak.

Not enough light
I had a light tube put in my living room a little over a month ago and I'm truly disappointed in the amount of light that comes in. I called the roofing company back and asked if I could get some kind of a different light screen and they told me that was the only one they carried. Then I get onto this website and see there are six different options. Can someone on here tell me which one gives the most light in the room?

You can elect to purchase an optional sun tunnel diffuser to change the look of the light coming into your home, but this will be more of an aesthetic change versus increased light output. Great while it works
Love our sun tunnel, adds good light during the day. Opted to add the solar night light, it was minimal extra cost that allowed the entire purchase to be eligible for tax credit. We didn't expect much light from it, but we were pleasantly surprised what a great night light it was…for a couple months until it stopped working. Contractor returned and replaced the solar night light, once again we were thrilled with it…until about 8 months later it quit working again. Velux, why does it keep dying?

Transform a dark gloomy hallway into a bright one
Installed 2 TLR ligtht tunnel in the hallway.
This once gloomy hallway was leading to the master bedroom, and is now full of natural light. We never turn the hallways light one anymore.
Bring good mood and bring my spirit up.
This is (literally) night and day ;)

Best purchase we've ever made.
We bought this 4 years ago for a bathroom without a window. It's the best purchase we've ever made. When someone goes in the bathroom they are always looking for the switch to turn the 'light' off.

22 years and still working great.
We had 3 of the rigid sun tunnels put in over 22 years ago. They are still working great. Love them, especially on cloudy days. Works on starry nights as well.
