I was excited about this because it said it could be applied in water and still work. I tried it with a small hole in my kids plastic kiddie pool that was already full of water. I'd did absolutely nothing. I let the pool completely dry out and applied the tape and was hopeful. I made sure that all air bubbles were ...

Tropics-proof tape
I bought this tape a year ago and have been using it to repair tarps, the lid hinges on locking food storage containers, etc. It is subjected to wet, cold, hot, UV - harsh tropical conditions here in Hawaii. It performs fabulously! It holds, has stayed clear, the edges havenʻt lifted. It is tough as nails. We love it!

did not work when trying to repair hosepipe leak
The product did not work when trying to repair an outdoor hose pipe that had developed a leak. The pipe continued to leak.

Works great
I got this tape a few weeks ago.. it works really well. It seems to be very sturdy and strong. We have almost used the whole roll and will definitely be buying another one.. I haven't found anything it didn't work on yet

Excellent for many uses
This tape is easier to handle than clear duct tape, and more robust than packing tape. Recently I put some around the frame of a large screen in our attic window which was great. Extreme heat and rain have not affected the tape. Great find!

Strong tape!
Really strong tape! I've used it a few times already and it does not disappoint! It's a bit thicker than clear tape but much stronger. You can even feel it by touching the adhesive side. Super easy to use on so many surfaces. This is a must have in anyone's garage!

I'd did absolutely nothing. I let the pool completely dry out and applied the tape and was hopeful. I made sure that all air bubbles were out, and filled it with water. It definitely helped a bit, but it still started leaking within 30-60 minutes. *Shrug* Stickier than normal clear packaging tape

Great
Really good tape that is super versatile. Pretty wide and definitely is super sticky. So far so good with everything I've used it with. If you do remove it it doesn't seem to damage what you've used it on. I really like that it's clear too.

Great tape
I really like this tape as an alternative to other duct type tapes because it is clear, and it is stronger than other/traditional packing tape. It is strong and easy to use. I think there are a lot of different kinds of uses for a tape like this so it is a good thing to keep around the house or in your tool kit. I personally wouldn't have tape be a permanent solution to a repair but I think in a pinch to get you through until a more thorough repair, this is at least more aesthetically pleasing than other not clear types of repair tape. The roll is a good size too!

T-Rex Clear Repair Tape
The T-Rex Clear Repair Tape is so useful to have on hand for quick repairs. I've used it on a few things inside and outside of the house. It's a super sticky tape that is waterproof and uv-resistant. When using, be careful as it will stick to anything and it's hard to remove. Which is a good thing but not so good when you make a mistake. Used it to reinforce a cushion that was starting to crack. Also used it on my cell phone as the tempered glass was starting to crack and I didn't want to replace it just yet. While the tape is noticeable, it's as clear as one can get. Going try using it on the garden hose, the next time it starts to leak.

Thick tape!
This is a very thick tape which I really like. I had mix results regarding the repair strength of this. Depending on the surface, it was strong and other times not as much. If using on a wet surface make sure that it is very dry! Rough surfaces vary in strength of the tape as well. Overall great product though and I will continue to use on specific surfaces! I cannot speak to the long term durability yet!
