Safe-D Fire Rated Cable Clips are fully certified to satisfy legislative requirements to secure all surface cables in escape routes in residential and non-residential buildings (Amendment 3 to the 17th Edition, BS7671:2015, Wiring Regulations). When used with appropriate fixings Safe-D Clips can securely hold bundles of cables on a surface at 970degree Celcius for at least 2 hours. Manufactured in the UK using specific high-temperature pliable steel produced to BS EN standards with full traceability. Safe-D Clips have a passivated finish to protect against corrosive elements and minimise the risk of rust failure. Safe-D Clips feature 20mm tab widths; while the specific pliable-gauge and smooth/rounded corners (as required by design-code BS7671 s 522.8.11) protect both cables and installers; unique features which make Safe-D Clips the quickest and easiest to install. Safe-D50 Clips are suitable for use with standard trunking Size 6 (50x25mm), Size 7 (50x32mm), or Size 8 (50x50mm).
