The Soudal 116745 Gap Filler is a high-performance, moisture-curing polyurethane expanding foam designed for the versatile tradesperson. Engineered for general-purpose sealing and filling, this gun-grade formula offers superior control and precision, making it the go-to solution for insulating and filling voids in construction and renovation projects. This foam creates a robust, long-lasting bond with almost all common building materials including brick, concrete, wood, and metals. Once cured, it provides a durable seal that is highly resistant to water, heat, and the effects of ageing.

Suitable for

Ideal for general filling and insulating of holes, voids, gaps and joints in most construction applications. Adheres to most building materials. Can also be used around window and door frames. Insulation of pipes etc.

Application Method

Shake the aerosol can for at least 20 seconds. Put the adapter on the valve. Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer prior to application. For nonconventional substrates a preliminary adhesion test is recommended. Remove pressure from the applicator to stop. Fill holes and cavities for 1/3, as the foam will expand. Repeat shaking regularly during application. If you have to work in layers repeat moistening after each layer. Fresh foam can be removed using Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner. Prior to using the Gun & Foamcleaner, test whether surfaces are affected or not. Especially plastics and lacquer or paint layers can be sensitive to this. Cured foam can onlybe removed mechanically or with Soudal PU-Remover.
