Soudal Gap Filler Expanding Foam Hand Held - 116744 Moisture curing, polyurethane expanding foam for all general purpose gap filling. Adheres to most common building materials, resistant to water, heat and ageing. Excellent thermal and acoustic insulation values. Can be cut, sanded, plastered and painted after full cure. Not UV resistant, cover once cured with sealant, paint or plaster

Suitable for

Ideal for general filling and insulating of holes, voids, gaps and joints in most construction applications. Adheres to most building materials. Can also be used around window and door frames. Insulation of pipes etc.

Application Method

Shake the aerosol can for at least 20 seconds. Put the adapter on the valve. Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer prior to application. For nonconventional substrates a preliminary adhesion test is recommended. Remove pressure from the applicator to stop. Fill holes and cavities for 1/3, as the foam will expand. Repeat shaking regularly during application. If you have to work in layers repeat moistening after each layer. Fresh foam can be removed using Soudal Gun & Foamcleaner. Prior to using the Gun & Foamcleaner, test whether surfaces are affected or not. Especially plastics and lacquer or paint layers can be sensitive to this. Cured foam can onlybe removed mechanically or with Soudal PU-Remover.
