Difficult fitting filter kit
We have waited long time for ouder filter kit to arrive. Expensive mistake
The fan sounds like a cheap one with an annoying squeek. No sense of solid quality. The control panel does not have backlit buttons and it is difficult to locate them. The on/off touch sensitive button is fine for switching on, working first time but switching off requires a finger press to start the dimming function and then a further press to switch off (sometimes). Other times you are prodding the button till you either give up or it actually works. A poor outcome to what should be a simple piece of kit. Shame.

Looks great, power could be stronger
Overall we are happy, but I cannot give 5 stars first because of the overall power of the unit (does not suck everything away) and secondly because it has some weird features, such as that it automatically switches off the power function (the strongest function and we constantly just use that when cooking). Given the cost of the unit, I tend to

Good looks efficient extraction
Looks good and does it's job effectively and effortlessly, my one negative is that the controls ie on/off fan speed etc are not illuminated and are difficult to see unless really close up, a little illumination of the control buttons would make the extract fan greater still.

The cooker hood appearance is lovely. The functionality of the extractor is badly let down though by the lack of illumination of the flat surface 'buttons' that are the controls and to me reminds me every time I use it how poorly designed it is.
They are only individually illuminated when active, and without illumination are very difficult to locate when not active without strong ambient lighting - You essentially have to remember where they are!
Ideally a touch to the panel would illuminate all of the buttons to some degree with the active ones becoming brighter. As you will see from my image, I have had to add a tactile sticker to find the power button.
Another useful thing to know which isn';t made apparent anywhere pre-purchase:
150mm ducting + c. 100% efficiency
125mm = 85%
100mm = 65%

Be Careful ! Rust problem
Please DO NOT buy these products. We bought Neff Wall mounted cooker hood and microwave 2 years back. However, within a few months, the products started to develop some rusty marks all over crome surfaces. We have tried all sorts of products to remove them but it's hard to get rid of them. I contacted NEFF a couple of times and they keep asking me to buy their cleaning products. Complete rip-off!!

Disappointing
Unfortunatley when we purchased this we did not realise the difficulty of fitting the ouder filter would be.
After trying to purchase the said filter, and being told it was no longer available and we would have to purchase each item seperately and build our own, the customer service team at Neff managed to find us one.
This was only the beginning of the issue we had.
Fitting of the Ouder filter kit is not easy you have to dismantle the chimney without damanging the top of cooker hood and then fit the housing for filter from the top of hood not easy thing to do I am not looking forward to taking it all down to change the filter
surely the access should be from under the hood as all other cooker hoods are
Would not have purchased this if we had known difficulty of fitler fitting

Neff N70 Wall Mounted Hood
I purchased the Neff Cooker Hoodnearly a year ago and I have not been disappointed. It is very simple to use, looks great i the kitchen. It's wipe clean and the filters are washed in soapy water . It has a few setting to pull smells and stem when cooking. 10/10 for me.
