An A1 Non-Combustible multi-application Glass Mineral Wool slab, manufactured using Knauf Insulation's unique ECOSE® Technology, and designed for use in multiple applications in both timber and steel frame construction to allow flexibility across a range of projects.
Is made of shaped polyethylene foams glued to aluminium coated polyethylene foils. The unique honeycomb structure composes of a large number of low emissivity cavities that ensure high thermal performance. The reflective insulation product has a heat capacity of 2300JK/kgK. The panels can be used on timber frame, masonry walls, pitched roof, ceilings, floors & suspended timber floors. The lightweight Hybris panels have a tensile strength greater than 45kPa before and after ageing in both longitudinal and transversal directions. The tensile strength is tested to EN 1608 and the tearing and nail shank resistance to EN 12310- 1 part 1.
Earthwool Acoustic Roll is a flexible glass mineral wool quilt that provides a high level of sound absorption. The roll is 1200mm wide and ready cut to 2 x 600mm wide rolls. Odourless, rot proof and non-hygroscopic, it does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria, providing durability. It provides coverage of 15m2.

Glass Mineral Wool
Usage
Sound insulation of separating walls and floors, internal walls and floors, timber and metal stud partitions
Warm Roof construction is a particularly effective way of insulating complex
roofs. Insulating above - or above and between - the roof timbers ensures
that the structure is kept at or near the internal environmental conditions,
reducing thermal stress and condensation risk.
