Does not run off a generator.
Bought this to replace my other Makita grinder as it popped after 6 hard years. Unfortunately the new one has a pointless soft start feature which means it can not run off a generator, well mine atleast!

Bargain for the money
Great tool for the money.nice case to go with however could be a little bigger for wire wrap. Running blade and concrete blade included so cannot go wrong

Review of Makita Angle Grinder
We use these hand grinders for production work in the workshop. They are a great machine to use as they are relatively light to use and are extremely reliable.

Great tool for those lightweight tasks.
Nice lightweight grinder. Really excellent price. Slight grouch is that the cable has to be rolled up tight to get the box to close.

Brilliant
Bought this to cut a box lintel and concrete blocks. Blade for cutting metal and a diamond tipped blade for cutting through concrete blocks as well a a plastic carry case included. To be fair, I have only used this to cut the box lintel and several concrete blocks so I can't comment on how good it is over a period of time but I have to say it was absolutely brilliant for what I needed it to do and I'm sure it will continue to be so (if it's not I will update this review). I would give it five stars, but as I've only used it for a short while I cannot just in case it doesn't work in a few months time. However, if my Makita Comby drill and impact driver are anything to go by, this bit of kit will not miss a beat for a few years yet
