I used this for a soundproof wall. 1 layer of vinyl on the wall, a stud frame just 1cm away from the original wall, acoustic rockwool then 2 layers of Gyproc Soundbloc - the first screwed to the frame, the second glued on to the first. Gyproc WallBoard DUPLEX, backed with a vapour controlled membrane, is a high-quality and durable product. This wallboard features an aerated Gypsum centre, secured by bonded paper liners and polyester film.
With an Ivory-faced paper and metallised polyester film reverse, it can be used for wall and ceiling linings where vapour control and plasterboard lining are required in one fixing operation.
Gyproc WallBoard DUPLEX is a plasterboard that is suitable for dry lining internal surfaces.
