Ronseal Trade Polyurethane Varnish is a traditional solvent based varnish that provides tough protection against knocks, scuffs and scratches.
Ensure the room is warm and well-ventilated. Sand the wood in the direction of the grain using 120 grit paper. Wear a suitable mask to avoid the inhalation of dust. Wipe away dust with white spirit and allow to dry. Always use a good quality, soft bristle brush. Stir the varnish thoroughly. Apply 3 coats leaving 6 hours between coats. Lightly sand with 240 grit paper and remove dust prior to application of the final coat.
