The Ibstock Red Engineering Class B Brick is a high-strength, low water absorption brick designed for structural applications. Manufactured using a perforated, wirecut process, it offers exceptional compressive strength, making it ideal for foundations, retaining walls, and other load-bearing projects. Its low water absorption reduces the risk of frost damage and enhances durability. As an engineering brick, it is specified for its performance rather than its appearance, meaning it is not intended for facing work. Where aesthetics are a priority, a facing brick should be used instead. Please note this product is produced in Ibstocks Chesterton factory and is therefore more suited to counties in the Midlands & South
H+HÕs Celcon Blocks High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2 à identified with a black stripe on the block) is ideal where higher compressive strengths are required such as in the foundations and lower storeys of three storey buildings, piers under high vertical loads and in multi-storey buildings.
Available in Standard Grade (3.6N/mm2) and High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2). Foundation Blocks can be used to support 3 storey constructions. They are suitable for the support of solid or cavity walls, framed construction or suspended floors, including beam and block.
12mm 100 x 10,000 rolls of Brickfill closed cell cross linked polyethylene foams for all your requirements for brick and blockwork expansion and movement joints packed in 10 rolls per merchant pack.
