Very easy to use and sets solid almost as soon as it is compressed. We have probably used 30 or more bags of this over approximately five years to repair pot holes on a very busy estate road subject to commercial traffic.
Repairs seem to have lasted as long if not longer than professionally completed pot hole re ...

Don't waste your time, money and effort.
Read comments about this before I bought it, you live a learn.
Laid this approx two months ago, still soft as the day it went down, prepped the hole correctly, even spent an hour with a wacker plate on it.
After three times now, stamping it back down , I give up, will be fetching it out and will fill with concret ...

Did the job for me!
As reluctant DIYer experience good.
- Choose warm sunny day (15C+), leave bags in sun to warm
- Make holes have vertical edges (say 40mm), seal with spray
- Tamp well, it's not cake icing, then more

Wouldn't buy again
I put this tarmac down over a month ago and it still is soft and hasn't hardened at all, even the weeds that I'd put weedkiller on came up through it.
Very disappointed.

Dont waste your maoney, doesnt go off
Bought this for edging the end of a driveway, and after nearly 5 days it's still soft can't drive over it as I don't want to drag the tarmac over the new drive which light grey Tobbermore blocks. But getting in contact with Dean at the Leigh branch was really helpful in resolving this issue for us.

Resurfaced our drive
Resurfaced our drive, Don't forget the spray asphalt adhesive makes all the difference on the edges and hire a vibrating plate. Spreads well and good compaction.

I would not buy this product again.
I bought this in April to repair a pothole in my drive. It's almost July and I'm still waiting for it to go hard. I can still push my finger into it and am having to cover it with a plywood board to protect it.
Some years ago I bought a similar product from another diy company and it worked fine.
