New Wood - prime with one diluted Biocheck Water-Based Gloss is a fungicidal coating formulated for use by both amateurs and professionals to inhibit the growth of mold, fungi, lichens, and algae on substrates such as wood and metal surfaces, applicable internally and externally. Prior to application, stir the product thoroughly. For new wood substrates, apply a single primer coat diluted with 5% by volume water. Subsequently, apply two coats of undiluted Biocheck Water-Based Gloss to all surfaces, maintaining a minimum inter-coat drying period of two hours. Application should be conducted using high-quality brushes or rollers, ensuring even and generous coverage without excessive brushwork. Post-application, thoroughly clean application tools with ample clean water.

Ensure the room is warm and well-ventilated. Sand the wood in the direction of the grain using 120 grit paper. Wear a suitable mask to avoid the inhalation of dust. Wipe away dust with white spirit and allow to dry. Always use a good quality, soft bristle brush. Stir the varnish thoroughly. Apply 3 coats leaving 6 hours between coats. Lightly sand with 240 grit paper and remove dust prior to application of the final coat.
