Slabs for shed base
Ordered 12no. 600sq 50 thk slabs for a shed base. Some minor damage and defects to a couple of the slabs but was not a great issue. Very poor product quality: The slabs where not cut straight they were uneven.

600x600 Slabs
Very poor product quality: The slabs where not cut straight they were uneven.
Very poor delivery service: I was told that the slabs would be delivered by a truck with a crane that would drop the slabs in to my property. Reality was they were sent to me via a 3rd party courier who had nothing to do with the company who turned up and said his job was to drive the slabs to my address, I had to then carry each slab which weighs approx 40kg in to my property.

They are a good paving slab just a pity that they are not square. Should be 600x600x50 they actually are 59.7x59.5x50

No definately not
The driveway was blocked off by Marshalls who stacked the slabs on top of each other right in the access way. We could not get the hired mini digger off the property and ended up staying there for another day and the whole weekend which cost me two days of work to move the slabs out of the way and £1000 extra in wages and mini digger hire cost. The slabs cost an enormous amount of money just to find nearly all the slabs were broken that was at the bottom of the stack. I have lost such alot of money and I am also sitting with nearly half the slabs damaged that was stacked at the bottom of the piles. I need the Marshalls rep to come and have a look as I want my money back.

Reasonable price and do the job.
Decent quality but the main thing is a reasonable price. Be aware they are very heavy if you have not used slabs this big before. Slight hiccup with the delivery - delivered too soon! But the manager phoned and sorted things out. Nice to have the personal touch. Best to phone the local depot if special delivery instructions as no way to add this to an online order. Anyway slabs are great for a shed or garage base.
