Using a mortar plasticiser will improve the workability of the mixture, while increasing its strength and durability. Plasticisers also minimise cracking and shrinkage in your mortar, as well as increased resistance to frost damage. And, as you’ll need less water in your mortar mix there will be less corrosion to steel. You’ll also find a range of cement dyes and mortar additives such as waterproofing admixture, SBR bonding agent, plaster accelerator and plasterers stabilising primer.
