It works for what I need it to. Staff were helpful and prompt.
Most liked negative review
Poor quality
Several arrived split, several arrived with significant cracks and later split, many collapsed edges and a wide variation in height - 223 mm is far too big for a 215 block!
Next time will wait for stock at our preferred supplier!

Merchant Response Dear Tim, many thanks for getting in touch. I'm very sorry to hear of the below-par quality of the concrete blocks you purchased. If you are able to take them back to the branch where you purchased them from, they will gladly replace any faulty ones. In the meantime I will pass this information onto the product team who can raise the quality issue with the supplier. Kind regards, Travis Perkins Team

I recommend these bricks
They were very helpful and the bricks make great feet for the hanging rails I made with my daughter.
Coursing Units are produced from the same material as all H+H aircrete and are suitable for the same applications as conventional size Celcon Blocks, allowing consistency within the building fabric.
H+HÕs Celcon Blocks High Strength Grade (7.3N/mm2 Ð identified with a black stripe on the block) is ideal where higher compressive strengths are required such as in the foundations and lower storeys of three storey buildings, piers under high vertical loads and in multi-storey buildings.
This highly efficient block (thermal conductivity of just 0.11 W/mK) is sufficiently loadbearing for two storey buildings and can be used below DPC. Identified by the distinctive painted blue line, Celcon Solar Grade has a compressive strength of 2.9N/mm2 and is principally used where enhanced thermal performance is required.
Celcon Block Standard Grade is BBA certified and has a compressive strength of 3.6N/mm2. Its all-round performance allows a 100mm Standard Grade Celcon Block to be used consistently throughout a build, eliminating on-site confusion
