Dryrod is the next generation of rising damp treatment developed by Safeguard Europe Ltd. The patented, BBA approved 12mm diameter DIY damp proofing rods carry a powerful water repellent material, which cures to form a powerful barrier to rising damp. Once they are inserted, the rods will start to dry out the wall by slowly diffusing water repellent deep into the damp masonry, curing to form a powerful barrier to further rising damp. Installation: Simply insert the 9" rods into a series of 12mm holes drilled into the lowest available continuous mortar course of the wall. No specialist pumps or mastic guns required. A normal hammer drill will suffice. Once installed they diffuse the active ingredient deep into the wall before it cures to form a water-repellent chemical damp course. Safeguard Drybase TS-Plus Polymer Tanking Kit 12kg
A high-performance cementitious waterproofing system designed for basements, cellars, and other below-ground structures that can withstand up to 5-bar water pressure. Supplied as a two-part kit with pre-measured cementitious powder and liquid polymer components, it produces a dense, durable slurry tested to withstand up to 5 bar hydrostatic water pressure (equivalent to 50 metres below ground). The polymer additive improves workability, bond strength and flexibility, making the kit suitable for internal tanking in both new-build and retrofit settings. Once mixed, it can be applied to damp masonry and concrete walls and floors using a trowel or brush in two coats. Ideal for areas prone to movement or salt efflorescence. Drybase Construction Joint Tape is a synthetic rubber strip, approximately 0.7 mm thick. It is covered on both sides with an alkaliresistant and flexible polyester fabric mat, which forms a web on the edges. The combined properties of the fabric mat and synthetic rubber ensure a strong bond with the concrete surface, maintaining excellent elasticity of the tape.
