Drybase Tanking Slurry is a cementitious, ready-mixed surface waterproofer. The waterproofing function is achieved by a unique composition of cement, graded quartz sand and selected additives. It can be used against active and passive water pressures. The initial and final bonding capability of Drybase Tanking Slurry is excellent, making it suitable to be applied to horizontal as well as vertical surfaces. It is durable, resistant to frost and heat after setting, but also permeable to vapour. Drybase Tanking Slurry is tested for use in contact with drinking water.

A normal hammer drill will suffice. Once installed they diffuse the active ingredient deep into the wall before it cures to form a water-repellent chemical damp course. Sovereign WeatherChek Façade Cream is an easy-to-use water repellent for protecting external masonry from penetrating damp and freeze-thaw damage. The viscous emulsion of silane and siloxanes penetrates and impregnates porous masonry to produce a water-repellent surface. WeatherChek Façade Cream can be applied with a spray, brush or roller to porous masonry such as brick, mortar, render, limestone and sandstone. Reducing the porosity of masonry also results in reduced heat transfer, improving the thermal properties of a dwelling. WeatherChek Façade Cream also does not prevent a wall from breathing.
